The Countdown to the End of the Fundraiser.

in

The end is fast approaching for the Underwood and Flinch fundraiser at Indiegogo.com. Over the last fifty days, there has been an incredible response from listeners - and even non-listeners - from around the world. And at the time of writing this, with 18 hours to go, the total amount of money raised stands at

$10,492!

1day

I've been constantly amazed by the support and affection being shown to the project, and to say the least, I'm extremely grateful to all who have contributed. And it's not just me who should be grateful either, but all listeners, past and future - for by continuing to contribute above and beyond the original target figure, the Patrons of Underwood and Flinch are helping to make U&F 2 - indeed the U&F Saga - a reality as well. You make the book possible; you make the future books possible; you are amazing! And I thank you Smile

And it's not over yet!

There's still 18 hours to go (at time of writing this). So if you haven't contributed yet, but would like to, CLICK THIS TO GO TO THE CAMPAIGN AND DONATE.

Kerry Heron: Patron of Underwood and Flinch.

in

With only five days to gogo, Kerry Heron is the latest listener to rally to the cause of Underwood and Flinch at Indiegogo. Kerry's produced an animated video that spells out exactly why people should contribute to the campaign.

Thanks a million, Kerry! That free ebook copy of One Among the Sleepless will be with you as soon as it's ready.

I hope all these videos are inspiring you, people; if you loved U&F and you want to contribute to the campaign - even if it's only $5 - go to UNDERWOOD AND FLINCH AT INDIEGOGO now, and donate!

I thank you in advance for your most laudable action Smile

Jon Cape: Patron of Underwood and Flinch

Rally-round!! And return to Britain's WWII code-breaking boffin-hub, Bletchley Park, for this latest video from U&F Patron, Jon Cape.

Great job, Jon! Thanks a million for adding your voice to Project U&F!

If you'd like to join Jon, Stephanie and Dave in rallying to the cause, please do grab your cameras and get cracking. Once it's done, send me the YouTube link and I'll share it here and everywhere else I can. And to thank you, I'll email you a free copy of the One Among the Sleepless (Original 2002 text) ebook just as soon as it's ready (probably Spring 2013) Smile

Stephanie Price: Patron of Underwood and Flinch

in

The fantastic rallying-round of U&F listeners continues with Stephanie Price's video. Stephanie feels so strongly about the campaign that her video is eight minutes long. However, for those who have shorter attention spans, she's also created a shorter version. I'll post the shorter one first and the longer below. Great job, Stephanie! Thanks for rallying to the cause of Project U&F!

Dave Fisk: Patron of Underwood and Flinch.

Huzzah! Long-time listener, Dave Fisk is first to rally-round and produce a video supporting Underwood and Flinch at Indiegogo.

A thousand thanks to Dave for going the extra mile for U&F, and for sharing his thoughts on the project. Fantastic!!

If you'd like to join Dave in rallying to the cause, please do grab your cameras and get cracking. Once it's done, send me the YouTube link and I'll share it here and everywhere else I can. And to thank you, I'll email you a free copy of the One Among the Sleepless (Original 2002 text) ebook just as soon as it's ready (probably Spring 2013) Smile

U&F Makes the 2012 Parsec Finalists

in

I got the official notification email from the Parsec Awards to confirm U&F is now among the finalists for the 2012 gongs. Thanks to everyone who nominated it. And if you're going to the awards at DragonCon this year, do please give a hearty cheer when it's announced, even if it doesn't win Smile

In other news, the Indiegogo campaign is now into it's final ten days. So far you've helped me raise $7,322. Huge thanks to all who have donated to date - and if you haven't yet, but are thinking of doing so, please do - it'd be awesome to reach double the original target figure! (And it'll come in handy when I lose my job in September - the seasonal inevitability of Teaching English as a Second Language).
