Episode 19: Progress Update

The story content of Episode 19 is now almost finished. Next I need to record the bumpers, including the Q&A bit, and the music, and then we're done. In 19, we re-join, Keith and Michelle, Damo and Hodge ... and Giles. You'll like Giles.
When the eggs take colour, the episode will be live.

Giles may have the power to charm, but if he does, there's nothing sinister about it ... Although actually, no, he doesn't have the power to charm at all. My mistake ;-)

Giles is so distinctly wrought as a character. He's GOT to be based on somebody from real life. I was trying to figure out who! What a voice! I loved it.
Great episode as always. I cannot WAIT to see how this storyline weaves in with the Underwood/Lydia/David thread.

Of course, any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely co-incidental, Spook Child ;-)
I worked in a music venue for about five years in the Nineties. The venue was on the tour route for all the indie bands of that time. I worked with everyone from Blur and Oasis to The Lemonheads and Alice Donut. I was also in a band myself and spent most of my youth in the company of musicians. So, what I'm saying here is, Giles is more than just one person from real life, he's about twenty or thirty rolled into one skin.
Oh, and before anyone asks, no, we never got a gig with Nirvana. We nearly got them for the Reading Festival warm-up the year the headlined, but sadly it didn't happen.
